Operatie dam.........Operation dam...

Afgelopen vrijdag 11 februari was het zover, de boomstammendam, ontstaan door de door smeltende sneeuwe ontstane overstromingen, zou uit de Elz worden verwijderd.
Ik dacht er natuurlijk pas op het laatst aan dat wat foto's ook wel aardig zou zijn, dus ik heb foto's van de laatste boom..... En die was weerbarstig.
Last friday, february 11, was the day, the timberdam that came into being through the flooding caused by the melting snow, would be removed.
I thought of taking pictures far too late, so I only have some of the last big tree. And this one was wilful.

 De enorme stronk kwam er later ook nog uit, zij het met moeite.

Alles wat er voor deze boom uitgekomen was, lag al op de kant:

En toen moest de eigenlijk nieuwe, maar verkeerd ingebouwde dus beschadigde septic tank die was gaan zwemmen nog (en de bomen die daar bekneld zaten):

 even leek het er op dat de Wolfauffang-Landrover te hulp zou moeten schieten

 maar Dongetje Feng liet zich niet kennen...en Andreas, de bestuurder al helemaal niet..

Hij was kwaadaardig.......... It was malignant.......

Bruno's tumor. En hij komt waarschijnlijk (spoedig) terug.
We overleggen morgen met de dierenarts wat we kunnen/willen doen.
Bruno wordt 8 in maart.

De operatie aan zijn tand was uitgesteld vanwege de sneeuw en moeilijk begaanbare weg naar het dorp. Daar kwam de overstroming nog bij.
Maar gisteren was het zover. Voordat de tand zou worden aangepakt zou er eerst een endoscopie worden gedaan omdat ik ervan overtuigd was dat er nog steeds iets niet in orde was met Bruno. Het kokhalzen en hangend slijm uit de mond bleven maar doorgaan, vooral na het eten of een wandeling.

De tand is niet geopereerd, want Bruno bleek een tumor achter in zijn bek te hebben. Niet heel groot, wel heel diep. De tumor is eruit gehaald en opgestuurd voor nader onderzoek. Intussen moet Bruno weer opknappen. Momenteel heeft hij veel pijn. Vandaag gaan we terug naar de dierenarts voor controle. Dan moet hij maar een pijnstiller geven.

Bruno's tooth operation was postponed as a consequence of the snow and slippery toad into the village. Above that we got the flooding.
But yesterday was the day. Before the work on his tooth there was to be an endoscopy because I was convinced that something still was not all right with Bruno. The retching and mucus that still hung from his mouth, especially after a walk or meal, were not normal.

The tooth was not operated on. It appears Bruno had a tumor in the back of his mouth. The tumor was removed and sent away for further examination. Meanwhile Bruno has to revive, at the moment he is in a lot of pain. Today we go back to the vet for a check up. I think the vet should give some painkillers.
